FAQ

  • Are you taking submissions for exhibitions?

Currently we are not but that may change as we love sharing the work of our talented art community. Keep an eye on our socials for Calls For Submissions.

  • Do you charge admission?

No, we never have and never will. We believe art should be accessible to everyone regardless of a persons financial situation. We welcome everyone in our gallery.

  • Do you offer art instruction?

Yes we do. Nazo is our main instructor and offers small group and individual lessons. Please look at our Instruction page for upcoming workshops and classes.

  • Do you rent the gallery space out?

No, we do not rent the gallery space out for exhibitions or events. We curate all of our exhibitions here.

  • Can I apply to have my work represented by your gallery?

Currently we are not representing artists outside of who is in the current exhibition.

  • Do yo ever show 3D or sculpted works?

We primarily show 2D works that hang on our walls. We have shown 3D works that have been able to hang in the past but that is rare and typically only happens with a solo exhibition and if the pieces can meet our hanging requirements.

  • I'm an artist in high school and have some questions, is it possible to contact you?

Yes, definitely. If you are a student, parent of a student or teacher and have questions we may be able to help you with please feel free to contact us.

Nazo has spoken to students in classes in middle school, high school and at UVIC many times about being an artist and running an art gallery and enjoys helping out when he can.

  • Do you offer portfolio critiques?

Yes we do. Please contact us for more information about our requirements.

  • I have extra art supplies I would like to let go of, are you able to use them?

Yes, we can almost always find good homes for art supplies (that are in decent condition) and have done this a lot. If you are an individual or an estate inquiring about this please contact us and we can talk more about what you have and if we can take it.

We have not and never will sell any donated art supplies, we make sure to find the best homes that can use them. Typically these supplies make it into the hands of students or households that don’t have the extra money to afford them and otherwise they wouldn’t be able to create art.
